The largest sporting event of The Hague will take place on Saturday, 15 March 2008 and organisers expect more than 20,000 participants. Each year thousands of people take part in the Fortis Half Marathon (20 km), the AD Haagsche Courant Run (10 km), the West Run (5km), the Fortis Youth Run (2.5 km) and the Ernst & Bobbie Children's Run (1 km). You too can be a part of this annual event and enjoy the beautiful streets of The Hague and vistas of the North Sea along the famous Scheveningen Boulevard.
The 34th edition of the Fortis City-Pier-City Run 2008 will take place from 11.00 to 17.00 hrs. Participants and spectators are advised to use public transportation or their bicycles to reach the city centre.
